I am a graduate student studying biological anthropology in the Functional Morphology Lab at Stony Brook University.
My research broadly focuses on the functional morphology and developmental evolution of the primate vertebral column. I am interested in data analytics to summarize data, make predictions, and make informed decisions about data.
Projects
Doctoral dissertation: Development and evolution of the vertebral column in primates and other mammals Genetic and developmental basis for variation in skull morphology I previously worked with Dr. Chris Percival studying craniofacial development and the morphological effects of known genetic mutations in mouse models. A 3D analysis of sacroiliac joint surface topography among primates Analyzing morphological differences of the SIJ related to substrate use, locomotion, and body size. |
